How do y'all take to outsiders? I've been thinking of moving to Tennessee or North Carolina but I been looking online and lots of the towns say they don't like new folk moving in there. I'm a southerner but I'm tired of the crazy urbanization of my state and I wanna get somewhere where I can have land and be near the mountains

Not op, but it's the same here, estimates show 80 new families move to the Nashville area a day and projected 400,000 in the next ten years. Not sure how this is affecting eastern TN but our infrastructure can't handle that kind of population boom. Bye in large were friendly to folks that aren't assholes.
