Tampa is gross. There are a lot of smaller cities known as the Tampa bay area though.I used to live in Pinellas county on the other side of the bay. It's kinda hit or miss there whether it's ghetto or nice. When I originally moved there it was all orange orchards.

I drove the Cherohalla Skyway for the first time coming back from a vacation in northwest Florida. I took an extra driving day back and went up there before making my way back toward Iowa. Holy shit it was amazing; the road was a lot of fun and the scenery was gorgeous.

Good point; I think those two states are more boring that TN can be, though. NM is fantastic if you like solitude and hiking. It's also pretty good for blasting across public and BLM lands in 4WDs and dirtbikes/dual sports/adv bikes. Not much in the way of stuff to do socially though.
