I am supposed to be meeting someone I met online. She is from the Bay Area. She's given me every reason to label her a catfish, but it's...weird. There's all the usual signs: Hasn't given me her phone number, hasn't skyped or video called me. However, she first contacted me through Snapchat and sent pictures and videos (NOT from camera roll, I double checked). She actively texts me in regular "I'm talking to someone real online" way, doesn't generally dodge questions like how catfishes do, and even sent me gifts and stuff (However, no return address iirc). I am really conflicted. Can someone help me find her? If this is the wrong board to ask this on, can you point me to where I can ask all of this? Now, I did check white pages, facebook, instagram and didn't get a lot but of course she uses Snapchat and Kik (The prime places for catfishing, which doesn't help my situation). If you are interested in helping me out, let me know and I'll give you more info. If you're from the SF area and might know her, your help would be much appreciated.
I don't want to be catfished after knowing her for so long. If she is a catfish, she would've fooled me better than anyone I've ever known.
