I've got a weird fucking Tinder bug, just wondering if anyone has experienced this/is there any way I can fix it?
A few days ago I was on Tinder using it normally, where suddenly it soft "crashed" where all my messages to my matches appeared on the left side of the conversation (ie. It looked like all the messages I sent AND they sent were sent by them) and I couldn't send any more messages to anyone, even though I could navigate the app. Restarted my phone, and suddenly Tinder was reset - all my matches were gone, bio was cleared, distance preference was set to default etc. Tried logging in and out and restarting the app, nothing worked.
A few days later I gave up and just started swiping again. Ended up matching with a few girls I was recently talking to and they said our old conversation was still up, so they had me matched twice. Plus my roommate is still in my "Tinder Social" group apparently, but I can't see him there.
Tl;dr: My account somehow seems to have split and been recreated after a crash while old matches are apparently still matched with me and I can't get their messages or anything. And all my matches disappeared. What do?
Figured /soc/ might know, better than any other board.
