Lots of shit threads but rate ones kinda take the cake. A 5 to me may be a 9 to someone else, and vice versa. So wtf is the point?

I personally like rate threads to determine which pictures of myself are good. Also after I change up my look to get feedback on it so I can polish up my aesthetic. First time on /soc/ I consistently got rated 5-6, but now a couple years later I generally get 7-8 which has improved my quality of life a good bit.

The whole reason /soc/ was created in the first place was so that all the cringy insecure rate/dickrate/ contactfagging threads could be concentrated into one board of cancer instead of them cluttering up everywhere else.
