I joined and left hundreds of autist hugboxes and eventually found one with normal people and one of them talked me in to giving FFXIV a try and now six of us play together often and play a bunch of other shit together too.

I found my steam bf on /r9k/

About two years ago I stumbled upon a video on YouTube. It was some dude speed running one of my favorite games. He seemed super chill and I even ended up learning something new about this game I've had for years.

Turns out he streams and I decide to follow. Since his following was on the smaller side, it was easier to participate when he streamed multiplayer games. Next thing I knew I joined his Discord, met his friends, and the rest is history.
