I'd like to put some actual effort into my description instead of listing off factoids.

When I was young, I was diagnosed with a form of muscular dystrophy, I have a mitochondrial dysfunction where the powerhouse of the cell misfires. 'cause of this, my parents didn't want me to get tired doing... anything, so whenever we went anywhere they had me use a wheelchair. This made me bloat up to morbidly obese weight. I was also prevented from going to school, but I still had an education from the teacher coming to my house to tutor me and I passed high school with flying colors, however I never got to really socialize. So I had no real contact with girls, so I'm literally a kissless virgin, and my parents won't let me get a job or drive or anything cause "muh mitocondria"

I was still happy, because that is just who I am.

Then one day, Dec 22 2015, I read somewhere all you need to do to lose weight is eat less than you burn, and you burn 2000ish a day just by existing. I weighed a staggering 345 lbs at the time and decided to start eating less, out of boredem. I lost about 30 lbs, asked my father to take me to a block and have me walk down it, he said "but if I ask you to get back in the car, you do it." I made it half a block before he stopped me.

Lost quite a bit more, made him take me back, told him I won't get back in unless I collapse, and he said "you know your limits"

I responded "I'll break them"

I walked a block, he pulled up, asked me to get in, but i continued for a total of 2 and a half blocks(street ended.

I now weigh 230 lbs, planning on losing more, and getting job in security.

No sign of my illness anymore.

Music: I like prog rock, some metal (not doom/death though), indie bands especially shoegaze-type stuff, 80's synth stuff, a small amount of underground hip-hop (MF Doom especially), Electronic music expecially Synthwave, darkwave, futurepop and related genres

I also really like vidya music. I went to MAGfest in DC last month and had a blast. If you were there I'd love to hear about that.

I play piano and synth but am several years out of practice.

My mother and father could not be more proud and supportive, I often have to convince them that yes I'm fine, my studies are going well, I'm fed and warm, and so on. They taught me to be strong and determined. I even have a mentor from the family who used to be a professional actor before retiring, and they don't sugar coat anything. If they were teaching me martial arts I'd be sweating, bleeding and in tears from their training - I go through same equivalent from their mentorship in acting, and they say I'm pretty fucking good.
