Is it though? Even if someone's responsible and disciplined at 18, their lack of life experience would probably still leave them lacking in maturity in one way or another. At the same time, most women are probably physically older than at least 30, and that would give them more of a chance at being more mature than an 18 y/o.

I mean, you can debate what constitutes maturity, but it's more likely that older people are more mature and there's more people older than 18 than there are younger than 18.
