The galifreyan was done professionally, hence the lack of blurred or mishapen lines.
The mushroom was done over 5 times including color. It was outlined three times and colored twice because the two aspiring artists who worked on it didn't know how to apply pressure properly. Now its basically a colored scar in the shape of a 1-UP

Its hard to acurately portray real hands/faces/people in tattoos, so seeing it done right is a real work of art
