You're really cute and my type, I could definitely see you being an actor.
>>

Thanks anon :)
>>
>>24757014
You look like this guy I went to college with. Literally every girl I talked to just wanted to fuck him.

I feel like there's more to acting though. Why don't you try doing something more realistic and less gay?

>>24759343
He's every girl's type because he's attractive.
>>
>>24757014
Look like you're a little too skinny, but hey, you're white and pretty decent looking.
>>
>>24757014
No. You're moderately attractive, although very feminine, and there are a million guys who look like you. At my school probably 10% of guys have that twinkish boyish look. YOu have to actually have interesting looks to be an actor
>>
kik?
>>

Hell of a compliment thanks bro. I feel like acting is what I'm made for. Numerous people have told me I should get into it based on how i act normally and it's always been an interest.

A Zack?

Yeah, you have 0 chance of being an actor. Too feminine, and very boring/cliche looks. You're basically the typical 'pretty boy' gay guy. Also, weird chin, bad ears, and downright laughable nose. You're not ugly, but I would put $10k on you never being a half decent actor.

Thank you!

You're definitely good-looking. But if we're talking about acting skill here, a clip of you acting would be best to gauge your potential.

Thanks, and I haven't got any proper experience as I'm just seeing if you all think I look the part to follow through on classes/workshops etc.

god no, you look like a typical high eyebrowed cuck

just lol at you

Duly noted
>>
>>24759807

Hmm, in that case, yeah, I think you could be an actor. But, as others have said, your looks are a bit generic. Just means that you'll have to work even harder to hone your acting and to stand out among your peers.

Best of luck, man. I really do mean that. Would be so cool to see you on the screen some day.
>>
>>24759844
Thanks a bunch man, appreciate the kind words very muchly. I'll be giving it my all!

Good man :)

(Also, hope this doesn't creep you out, but I personally find you utterly adorable. If you were into guys, I'd shamelessly ask for Kik, haha.)

Fucking Hell, forget what everyone told you and listen to a real fucking actor. I'll post this only once since I hate arguing with you people here.

It doesn't depend on how you look, but your inborn talent. If you don't have talent for acting, don't pursue it, because you can waste your life on it and fall into depression. How do you know you got talent for it? Study and practice a bit, visit your drama teacher or go ask someone in college, audition to college maybe. Or try a drama school.
Next up, do you have the determination to BE an actor? See in the industry only 1% of actors actually make it as that, actors. You will eat shit and stay in poverty for a long ass-while, years in fact, if you don't pull yourself through, constantly look for work or even make it and develop your craft, as well as keep up with what's happening in the industry. You can get another job to support yourself - and you most likely should, until you hit big.
Here's some pro tips:
>if you can join a theatre, stay there for years and years, there you will gain more experience than anywhere else
>if you're in school or college and got free time, look up if there's an amateur dramatics group in town, work with them or watch them rehearse (if you do always ask yourself 'how would I do differently?'), it counts as experience
>if you meet someone in the industry - share contacts, you must make a network
>be very furgal and careful with your money, depending where you live you might have to pay some kind of tax for being self-employed every year, be sure to keep every receipt and so on
>look up methods of acting, like Lecoq, Artaud, or Stanislavsky, you can just "act" or you can "be" your character and be the most interesting, convincing and interesting person on stage
>make friends, be polite, be determined and never let anyone dissuade you
>also fuck what anyone else says about your appearance, its your personality and talent that matters
>>
>>24759979
That's a huge help. So do you think an acting school would be worth it? I've done some research and apparently it's a bit of bunk.
>>
>>24759991
this nigger just said you're most likely to waste your time and you're asking him if spending 10k on acting school is worth it?
>>
>>24759991
I know shit about this but I have read newspapers and magazines. Lots of actors have been to acting school.

I'm from UK. We got a drama school here called the RCS, 3rd greatest acting school on the planet. Problem is, while it teaches you how to be an actor, it doesn't teach you how to make or find work as one, where as they do in Uni's.
Look again, it's all about your talent, skill and determination. You've got to make your own choices here.
But I'm serious when I'm telling you that if you don't got talent for it, you have to drop the whole thing, I'm sorry. There's a lot of people who tried, found out they don't have anything, continued anyway and failed. But same time you should know that people can be wrong about other people, you might have talent but it's not showing. I had the same thing myself for a little while in the beginning too.

Yea. It will be called twink gets raped by arab migrant in french subway.
>>
>>24757014
you could probably attract tonnes of underaged girls so yeah
>>
>>24757014
lol, what does a photo have to do with acting. That's like asking "Do I look like singer material?", if you would have said modeling material and remove the snapchat filter than that would have been different.
>>
>>24760077
I was asking if I had the right look for it, so no it's not like asking if I'm singer material.

actual sag-aftra fag, here. You are definitely camera ready (i.e. Attractive) but acting is about more than looks. You also need to have training. Being good looking isn't enough. The industry is saturated with good looking actors. A casting director may like your look, but that is worthless if you can't act, because it will take them all of ten seconds to find an attractive person who can.

The good news is you look young. Given the rules of this site, I take it you are over 18, but you could easily pass for 16-17. That's good. Really really good. Most people refuse to work with 15-17 year olds because being that they are still technically children by law, there is a whole mess of trouble productions have to go through in order to legally employ them. Obviously if the script calls for a ten year old, they're going to have to cast a ten year old. But if the script calls for a 16 year old, they'll usually hire a young looking adult.

A headshot is actually one of an actors single most important tools of trade. Before an agent or casting director decides to call you in for an audition, the first thing they see is your picture. Based on that, they can see if you're appropriate for the role. Obviously you're going to have to audition on top of that, but your picture is 100% of responsible for getting you in the room.

Headshot probably shouldn't have puppy ears though. Unless that's your niche, in which case neat.

>doesn't depend on how you look, but your inborn talent

It absolutely depends on how you look. Now that doesn't mean you have to be good looking, but you do have to be able to cater to a specific type in order to be marketable. Obviously you need talent too, but as I already told OP, it takes both of those things.

As far as "inborn talent", I think it's highly overrated. Some people may have a knack for it on their first outing, but I strongly believe that anyone can be taught to act. It's just a skill set like anything else. Mozart was a child prodigy, but it doubt he was able to hammer out a sonata the first time he sat down at a harpsichord.

In Op's case, I would strongly advise against looking to join a rep and park it there for a few years. Almost no reps will hire a person with zero experience, and the ones who will are more likely to hurt your career than help it. In OP's case, the best option would be either a conqervatory program in one of the major markets with an emphasis on learning the ins and outs of the actual business of acting, and will enable him to network with industry folks. theatre programs are garbage. The waste an absurd amount of time which could be spent developing one's career and networking with influencers, and they teach you nothing about how to actually succeed in the business. I can't tell you the number of MFAs I know who are doing nothing because, for all those years of training, no one ever bothered to teach them how to get work. Plus, by the time you finish school and save up enough money to move to NYC/ LA/ wherever, you will have missed out on some of the most critical years. A manager will work to develope a client who is 18-21, but it's much harder to land representation at 28, when you're competing with people who have been getting major credits for the last 10 years.

>college theatre programs are garbage*
>>
you could be like some mediocre C list actor who does TV as a supporting character probably, which i guess is not a bad gig haha, but like another anon mentioned, there is nothing particularly striking about you, typically the best or top actors have something very unique about their looks.
