your technique is extremely clumsy, as well as your perspective and everything.
Start by drawing simple shapes first with different lighting. A mug, a mobile phone, a cigarrette pack, etc... Do that for a year until you feel confident to move on. Then open another thread and i will tell you what goes next.

As far as i am concerned, nothing better than pencil, rubber and paper.
I learn that lines doesn't exist. It is all a matter of understanding that everything we see is different wavelengths being reflected from different surfaces. It is all light. Solids doesn't exist, sharp lines are just an illusion.
First of all you draw some lines as a general layout, then proceed with rendering, textures and all. finally you draw some, JUST SOME lines in order to emphatize what you want in your drawing.

You n00bs always start with strong outlines, hence your work is dead from the very beginning. I used to be the same ofc

Do what that anon says and start with pencil and paper, its alot more challenging since your forming an imagine in your mind and using your own skill and experience to put into reality
Tablet art doesn't require to much work and theres tons of ways to make short cuts around proecess compared to pencil. But their is a much bigger following so if your just trying to draw anime porn and stuff like that since everyone is doing that.

I think that other guy is probably in art school or something. His doodles remind me of one of my buddy who draws for a living. Lots of detail with little effort.

Anyway, I don't aim to be a professional, this is something I do when I'm bored. I'll go half a year without doing anything sometimes, so no practice of any merit happens. Some basic anatomy like pic related would be cool though.

don't copy from photos, copy from reality.

Put on some sexy clothes and grab a full body mirror.

When it comes to technique think of depth. remark a few lines that are supposed to be close to the point of view and blury the far away ones. By doing so your drawings won't look so flat.

Pratice on how lighting effects the human figure, maybe draw something that has a viewable light source and work you way on that.
And try looking up some hand models so you can add more depth into them cause their hard to get just right

just think that sometimes agood trick is to use your rubber as a drawing tool: shade the background, then draw with your rubber in negative.

Oh, and don't go for the obvious, skip some lines/information, then add some others to serve your purpose. You are not drawing a face, you are drawing the representation of a face which is quite a different thing. You can use as many tricks as you want to make your drawing appealing.

There's some difficulty in transitioning for everyone.
Make sure it's not a problem with drivers, drawing-software or a shitty cheap tablet.
Look up YouTube-channels, think both sinix and sycra made videos about exercises for getting used to digital.

The drivers are all working fine, and the tablet is one of the cheaper Wacom Intuos brands. There's just a major disconnect between drawing on the pad and watching it appear onscreen. The texture is also really slippery, but I could probably fix that by taping some paper across the thing. I'll keep trying with the tutorials.
