These threads never get any traction. Everyone from Missouri is awful, and it's a terrible place to live.

Missouri does kinda suck, unless you're in a bigger city. St Louis and Kc aren't that bad. Joplin is tolerable.

I studied this in my pol sci class. I think it had something to do with a micro industrial-boom in the mid 20th century. But a lot of factories and businesses left, and with them families. Look at east st. louis, dozens of abandoned industrial buildings. Plus economy shift from industrial to service-based didn't help. St. Louis was quickly built, and is quickly being abandoned.
