I'm honestly kind of clueless when it comes to styling curly/wavy hair like mine.

Hair is fine, but I freaked out when the barber said my hair is thin. I hate the idea of going bald.

I'm keeping the facial hair because it looks good when it's grown out more, but I always drunkenly shave everything off. The main issue is the bald spot under my chin makes it look like I have a double chin.

I think, for me at least, it depends on your age/career. If you're getting into your late 20s and do some kind of engineering/professional I'd say 4 is best but if you're in a more laid-back job or still in university the longer would fit better.

So I've been growing out my hair and I've been wondering if anyone can recommend any good haircuts that would fit me? I am a fairly pale guy, but my hair is some shade of dark brown hair, at least during the winter and the cold months. My brows are pretty dark too, if it matters. My head is huge, so I'd rather not cut my hair short as I look like a bydlo then. Front view. My forehead is pretty big, so I try to have some hair on it to draw the attention away from that.

Did you try any of the meds I keep hearing about? It might not completely fix your hairline, but it might make it looks more better, possible to a degree where you can grow out.

It's pretty curly. Both my parents have extremely thick, curly hair. Growing it out to this point was an uphill battle though. I have kind of a Jewfro going on when my hair isn't heavy enough to weigh itself down. It looks ridiculous and I would always either pull it back and tie it up, or wear a hat. But once it reached about the length in that pic, it was heavy enough to weigh itself down and I didn't have to mess with it. Also I only use shampoo and conditioner once a week. But my hair doesn't get very greasy. So I guess that's up to your hair.
