I thought since so many of you have such lovely hair, I'd ask if anyone here has very dry hair and could recommend a quality conditioner or other tips to help with how unruly my hair is.

Even when I use deep conditioners, my hair ends up looking like I made it worse and going the natural route with olive oil, coconut oil or masks with fruits just make my hair greasy even if I didn't use much and it's a bear to get out.

Oh, it's the nice person! I don't have an end goal, I'll just let it keep growing, and then cut whenever and at whatever point it bothers me. I'm still not satisfied, though, which is why I keep it tied up all day. Definitely needs to be longer, and I would say the limit is about just above the waistline.

I've been feeling especially down lately, but your words were so sweet that you really made my day.

As for the avocado, I have tried it once before. Unfortunately, instead of my hair soaking it up and becoming moisturized, it kind of sat on top and kept my hair greasy feeling even after a washing. Perhaps I didn't do a thorough job washing, so I'm definitely open to trying it again next time I see avocados on sale here!
I wash my hair 3 or so times a week and have actually stopped using shampoo altogether. Lately, I've stuck to using conditioner only since it has enough detergents to clean while not stripping the oils completely. It could be that I need to keep searching for that perfect conditioner for my hair.
