Today I had myself a little diy project. I am posting this here because I will probably get yelled at over at >>>/diy/, probably because its thread-related.

So a while ago, I bought myself an actual belt-style belt (in addition to the like 10 cages I already own), the one in the top left in the pic. However I was not quite pleased with it - the penis tube had a wonky shape, and also it was attached to the rear of the belt by a single chain that ran through the asscrack. Not only did this get messy when one inevitably had to shit, but it was uncomfortable on the balls as well. Like, here is the tube, chain goes this way, and anything in between (like for instance the balls) just kinda has to do whatever to be comfortable.

Dunno, maybe chinese men have smaller balls or something. Oh yeah, it came from an obscure chinese retailer, did I mention that? Yeh. So since sending it back was kinda out of the question, I had to do something. Then I remembered, "oh wait, I'm a man. We fix things", did a bit of planning, went to the hardware store and got the other stuff you see in the picture (except for that other cage in the top right) - chain, M3 screws, that steel fixture, and shrinkwrap (for the chains so they don't rattle all that much).

The plan is to use "that metal fixture" as a connecting piece between the belt itself, and the ring from the cage so the cage can be hung from the belt.
Obviously the fixture has too much material under the soon to be "lower" of the two conveniently places large holes (which not coincidentially fit the pins of both the cage and the belt), so that has to go away.

In hindsight, I would rate this project to be 4-5/10 on the difficulty scale - under normal circumstances anyway. I've been doing metal working before, waaay back in highschool so I would kinda rate me as somewhat experienced, but I wasn't really doing that much difficult stuff. A bit of cutting here and there (pic related, and obviously the chain had to be cut to the appropriate length) and a bit of grinding/filing down the rough edges from the cuts, you don't want those sticking into your dick. Otherwise it was basically just buying the right things (which I admit can be challenging) and tightening screws.
Then again the whole project would've been a lot easier if the damn dremel didn't keep breaking, I had to open it up like three times...

Alright, back to the fixture. Originally, this one is meant for wood, by the way. The irony is not lost on me.
Since the dremel is working again - removed the screws, opened it up, looked at the internals sceptically, closed everything back up, put the screws back in, boom, fixed - we can use the the cutting disc to cut the corners to, well, less sharp corners, and then the grinding tool to round off all the pointy bits and edges.

Depending on the design of the cage, they can still be *very* visible, even in what could be considered a loose and flowy kind of skirt. I have this problem with my CB-6000s. Used it on and off as my first cage. Longest time spent locked was ~1 month, average is about 2 weeks.
