Whats good about it? Moved here back in October. Your drivers are fucking horrible. Drove 2 miles this morning and almost got into an accident 3 times with the same woman on her phone trying to drive. Pretty much every day with a different dumbass.

Its ok. The whole "Tourist" view doesn't really exist with people like me who have been there their entire lives. I guess the best parts about it are the atmosphere and the hospitality everyone has down there ( dependent on where you are in LA ) NOLA, Metarie, and Kenner are all great with plenty of shit to do throughout the year. Lots of history. Not really a big fan of Mardi Gras anymore. Got tired of the tourists looking for excuses to show their tits. Bourbon Street is a fucking nightmare full of idiots at night (More tourists) but other than that I loved it. I cant seem to find very many good southern food places, because frankly most of what I've had so far is rather bland by our standards... not enough spices or flavor. Been looking for a Cafe Du Monde or something up here for some beignets but havent found anything yet. DId manage to find this cool place called "Hot and Spicy" over in D.C. which was like back home.

To an extent. Not really great at cooking in general due to an overall lack of interest. If I actually put my mind to it I'm sure I could, but I just don't have the attention span.

Totally understand. You know any fun things to do up around here? Been meaning to check out this Six Flags for a while now that's over in Bowie but just haven't had the time with work. Found a few rifle ranges but all the ones Ive found want me to spend like $300 bucks a fucking month to use the range or some ridiculously expensive membership fee... One of them was about $1200! fuck that.

Nah. It was a one time payment of 1200 for the year. Basically 100 bucks a month which honestly would be too bad if I expected to go pretty often. I only really go maybe once every couple of months or so. Either way, That much money just ain't worth it for me considering how little I would go. Back at home I spent 5 bucks per person and got to use the range the entire day. It was awesome. The NRA Range over in Fairfax is the only one Ive actually been to and signed up on. I think it was like $30 for like 2 hours. Not bad, but nothing beats $5 for an entire day.

Yea, considering how often you go it's not worth it for the once a year payment of 1200 dollars. You'd have to go something like 240 times a year to make it even close to being the same value as 5 a day
