/mhfn/ - MAN HANDS/FOREARMS/NECKS. Manly gropers, fondlers and fingerers - get in here! If new, please read the guidelines before posting.
>>
>>>>> WELCOME <<<<<
Started by femanons who love fuzzy, toned arms, man hands and glorious veins, tendons! And necks (let's see those Adam's apples), jawlines. Tattoos, jewelry (watches, rings, cuffs, piercings), and stubble optional and appreciated. =D

>Are you really female?
Yes (although oglers of all type are here). Check out requests and dirty talk on the thread.

>What's the appeal of hands and forearms?
It's way hotter to imagine what your hands and fingers are doing to our bodies than to see your dick. Therefore...

>>>>> GUIDELINES <<<<<
1. NO bare cock, balls, or buttholes.
1. NO bare cock, balls, or buttholes.
1. NO bare cock, balls, or buttholes. Got it?
2. Refrain from posting full-on face, please. Try to crop around nose level and up... We prefer the mystery of anonymity.
3. Keep the focus of your pics on hands, forearms and neck/jaw/collarbone area. We love suggestive pics with your bulge and rest of your bod, but use good judgment. Just like banging IRL, you're better off if you start with the playful stuff and progress to lewds (as so desired).
4. Most of us do not care for bare male feet. Again, use good judgment.

>>>>> TIPS AND POSES <<<<<
1. We like both pics and webms, but pics are easier for us to view on mobile.
2. We are a fun and relaxed group; come with a sense of humor and tolerance for raunchiness. Puns (lewd and not) are always welcome and encouraged!
3. Check out the pastebin for pose ideas and props! Or read the thread for current requests. =D

http://pastebin.com/0QEgmtQJ

AND FINALLY...
Be creative- the element of surprise is titillating!

911! Emergency! I love meaningless Internet points. Jesus. It's some kind of MUD. Your age is mystery to me, Nolly.

POSTING OPEN REQUESTS FROM LAST THREAD... but bear in mind that there is evergreen stuff that might help to draw a broader audience (classic and suggestive poses, belts, playing a musical instrument, etc.)...

... and would still like to see more sunrise/sunset type of pics from other guys since the ones we've seen from Torque, Brandt, Nolly have each had their unique spin and been awesome.

>911! Emergency! I love meaningless Internet points. Jesus. It's some kind of MUD. Your age is mystery to me, Nolly.
You're not as far off as you could be! I was playing ADOM - the roguelike that I'm currently obsessed with (it's usually ADOM or Brogue). Granted, the game is pretty old.

The fact that your mind jumped to MUDs first makes me think that you're probably 5-15 years older than I am, if that's any indication of my age.

More likely veins... Arteries aren't really subcutaneous/close under the skin like veins... and venous walls are thinner, more prone to distension, esp given higher cardiac output, like when carrying groceries.

It's a pretty piece of property that my family owns; right on the Hudson river just south of Albany. It's a super old house built by my Dutch ancestors in the late 17th cent. We have to do maintenance on the house in some form or another just about every summer,

Well obviously there would be reading. I can't live without it. Can you read with a book on your stomach? Because I can read with my mouth occupied. Get a couple chapters done, do some nailing, get some food, repeat.

Yah, those are veins, rather than arteries. Arteries would pulse in time with your heart beat. It's not impossible to see arteries from the surface, but very unlikely. Even as vascular as I am there are only two places on my body where my arteries are visible from the surface - just below the tibia knob on each of my ankles you can watch my heart beat through my skin. It's kind of weird, but also very cool. Good spot for taking a pulse, too.

Actually, these are Keens. I'm really rough on my boots so I need them to last. Keens are well worth the price with the mileage that I get out of them. I've had these through backpacking in Costa Rica, climbing palm trees in Peru, hiking various trails and mountains in the Smokies, Blue Ridge, and Adirondacks, and even on occasion running in, over the course of about 2 yrs. Still in good shape. I wear them every day.

I'm not sure what kind of dog Rae Rae is. Most likely a mutt. She's viscious and capable though (exactly like all of the women in my family). She took on a fully adult Bernese earlier that same day. Gave it a bloody eye and walked away with nothing.

>raw fries...
They're basically julienned. If I were still in school for it I probably would have failed with those, but I hardly ever go for technical perfection when I cook for myself. Plus the inconsistency makes them look more homemade.

>jalaps
I couldn't ever forget my jalaps. When I said everything, I meant everything. The only things I haven't eaten hot peppers in are cereal, yogurt, smoothies, and many of the variations on breakfast cakes/cookies/pastries.

>Crew. Well I don't have crew arms, but they've gotten pretty thick from all the yoga, and plus it'll be outside. Thinking about getting a temp job at a local rock wall after I get back from Cape Cod. Could take some sweet pictures there too.

My left:
Red - 21.5cm
Yellow - 9.4cm
Blue - 18.5cm
Green - 7.8cm

2D:4D is between 0.89 and 0.91 depending on device used to measure. Just measured it as 0.895 with calipers, but 0.905 was with a ruler that only measured inches, a while ago.

It was also a really weird setup. My camera was balanced on my bicycle seat, which was attached to my bicycle, sitting in the middle of the Kill, with a small Gorilla tripod, while I had the camera protected from the rain with an old light-up umbrella that was zip-tied to the stand part of a music stand.

Today's the first day it hasn't rained in over a week here; I'm a little sick of it being cloudy and dark~
I've been thinking of moving to a desert when I get the opportunity. Then I can appreciate the rain when we get some, instead of getting frustrated at yet another day without direct sunlight.

>Nolly, dear, I'm sure they were joking. No one needs to play that piece of "music".
It's hard, but I'm trying to be less of a snob about music these days. Not everybody can get into all the weird shit I like. Pop music is popular for a reason, after all~

That and I hate turning down requests~ I forget/miss more than I'm comfortable with as it is.

>>24182732
>If you'll play it, even just the first few chords or whatever, and can post the audio, I'd actually be really interested in hearing it.
Sure! I might have to record the audio separate (or upload the video elsewhere and link to it) if you want to HEAR me play, but I can definitely sit down and learn some of it when I get the time. I'm going to be fairly busy the rest of this week, but I might have time on Saturday or Sunday (or if I'm really good with time - tomorrow or Friday - I wouldn't count on that, though), depending on how hungover I am and how much I feel like packing my things.

I know I'm not perfect when it comes to grammar and don't expect anyone else to be, but it can be really off putting when someone doesn't proofread. I even still spell out all of my words and generally use complete sentences when texting/messaging people.
And, Diana, glad to have you here and recognized now. I'm not always the best about responding to seemingly random posters, so please forgive me if I didn't reply to a comment you made in a previous thread.

OK that's kind of obnoxious. You mean instead of writing something like "sounds good," you'll write: "That sounds good."?

I'm an English teacher, and I don't even do that. It comes across as incredibly uptight and stuffy. An email to my colleagues? Sure. An email to my attorney or something? Of course. A text to the girlfriend confirming Chinese take-out for dinner? Not a chance.

I love grammar, and I love teaching it. I especially love un-teaching all the stupid shit, pseudo-rules and whatever the students have been taught in the past. Those fake rules include but are not limited to:

>never end a sentence with a preposition
>never start a sentence with a coordinating conjunction
>never split an infinitive
>always use the oxford comma

Man there are so many of them...
>>
>>24184444
And to never write a sentence that breaks one or all of those rules is a sad, unfortunate and depressing thought. Because it's a fun thing to do.

The people that don't get this always frustrate me. It's such a hard "rule" to deal with.

>>always use the oxford comma
Well, I like the oxford comma. There's times when it doesn't fit, but generally speaking, one can reduce ambiguity by using it.
That and it bothers me when other people don't use it where they could. (list items should be properly delimited, dammit)

>>24184543
>the people that don't get this always frustrate me. It's such a hard "rule" to deal with.

It was a completely forced and artificial rule that was carried over from Latin by none other than a clergyman in like the 1700s or something. Because that's what educated, aristocratic people did back then. They invented needless new grammar rules and would compile them into a book for other educated, aristocratic people to read. Ridiculous. It has *no* place in the English language. English isn't a Romantic, Latin-based language. It makes me so mad...

>Well, I like the oxford comma.

I do too! There's nothing inherently wrong with the Oxford comma. But to say that one should *always* use it is wrong. There are times when the Oxford comma actually creates ambiguity.

To be fair, English borrows a fair amount of vocabulary and grammar from French (and by extension, Latin), so it's not wholly unrelated - but by and large, yes, we can avoid that nonsense because English is a germanic language and follows different rules.

>I do too! There's nothing inherently wrong with the Oxford comma. But to say that one should *always* use it is wrong. There are times when the Oxford comma actually creates ambiguity.
Well, that goes for most rules. The broader a generalization you make, the less accurate it tends to be when you get to the specifics.

I appreciate the writing skill used when authors disobey these rules, purposefully and functionally at least, but as someone brought up, writing-wise, in science, I cringe when sentences obviously contain more words than necessary. I once revised a document for a friend and brought his word-count from >7000 to ~2500, without loss of any conveyed ideas.

I can hardly discuss writing proficiency, though. I am the king of somehow-concise-run-on sentences. My record, to date, is a >180 word sentence. I cannot remember what it said, but I do remember that neither of my advisers could shorten it by more than a few words, and both agreed that it was appropriately a single sentence. They made me shorten it by "virtue of the fact that it was >180 words."

Related: I once pulled a snapple-fact that read: French author [whoever], in [whenever], published a 400 page book with no verbs." I can't even create a single sentence with no verbs.

If you've never met a "sciencefag" who wrote well, I would argue that you've never read anything written by an actual scientist. Or at least not a biologist or chemist - I can't speak for the writing abilities of psychologists, anthropologists, physicists, computer scientists, or the even more pure-blooded mathematicians. I think it's probably just a different kind of writing that you appreciate.

Ambiguity is the enemy of communication in scientific writing. There is a single correct (or most-correct) word and (most-)correct order for every idea. Take that test question for example: neither "please list as many [...]" nor "please list the [...]" unambiguously conveys the request considering how it was evaluated. "Please list the 7 variables" neither implicitly nor explicitly conveys the possibility of providing fewer than seven variables and awarding partial credit, which was part of the evaluation. Yes, this level of functionality is actually how scientists read/write. "Please list as many variables as you can (up to 7)" explicitly allows that some students will not provide seven variables, and (poorly) implies that credit will be awarded for each variable individually, rather than only in the case that seven variables are provided. In my opinion the way that that professor worded that question was more accurate to her evaluation than the way you would have phrased it, but I do see where your misunderstanding was (that providing any number of variables, up to all seven but presumably greater than zero, would have been awarded full credit). The prof just made the assumption that students would know that a partial answer would get partial credit, and that students would be able to figure out how the points were divvied up (7 points/7 answers).

I don't know if it's actually constituently different from boiled tea, but it's certainly probably steeped at a lower temp in most cases, which would dissolve fewer of the tannins I think.

>>24186179
You should be proud. It sounds like it was a very difficult thing to achieve. I know people who have quit college over far less.

I cried a lot while taking these pictures. The other side of the cushion, that you cannot see in the images, was covered in wet splotches.

I usually use just straight green. I don't think it matters all that much unless you're using a higher-temp steep tea - in that case it'll just be less flavorful, probably.
>>
>>24186309
Yes, I would imagine this would be great for white and lighter green teas. I have this lovely raw white pu'erh that I snagged in Seattle last time I was there that I've been meaning to try; I might employ this method because the tea is so delicate.

>my emotions in my hands
Yah. It's subtle, but everything about each of those photos (starting with 252) was deliberate. From the background material, and the way the books interacted with it visually, to the way and posture with which I handled (and always do) the pages, which all set the mood, to the (poorly delivered) metaphor of the weight of the books, to the specific pages and specific material in focus on each page, which tells a very short but meaningful story (some of it is lost in the context of the actual story, itself, and so if you've never read it you will miss some, but the gist of it is obvious enough I feel).

It's just a great wallet, and it was given to me by my girlfriend's uncle before he passed away.

>Solid choice. Do you prefer metal watch bands?

Haven't owned too many watches, but yeah, they've all been metal. I've seen some leather bands that I've really liked though. Watches are one of those things that I'm just not very passionate about. I've got friends who *love* watches and spend big money on them, and that's cool, but my $70 little Kenneth Cole watch is fine by me. Leather, metal...if it looks good on my wrist, I'll rock it.

>This stuff tastes great, but it's not exactly easy to carry.

Lol it's true. It's a total pain in the ass to carry. So uncomfortable in my pocket. But I usually leave it in my car when I'm running errands.

>I quite like Ruger weapons. :)

Of all the pistols I've owned, it's been my favorite. The DAO was a pain in the dick to get used to and I was all over the target at first. Nearly sold it.

But with practice, I've gotten really, really proficient with it. And it's so reliable. I've shot all kinds of ammunition through it and it has yet to produce a failure of any kind. I'm really happy with it.

Hey, whatever works for you. I'm not a gun snob and I'm not a fanboy of any one manufacturer or caliber. It's whatever fits your needs.

Me? I needed something easy to conceal, so it had to have a real thin profile. (The LC9 fit that spec.) I needed a caliber that was self-defense-appropriate. (I believe 9mm fits the bill, though others might disagree.) I wanted 8 rounds. (The LC9...8 rounds...check!)

But if someone showed me a Glock or Sig or anything else that I liked better, I'd break up with the Ruger.

It's not too bad. With safety razors like that, you can't make very deep cuts unless you're really trying to hurt yourself (and even then, it can't be easy). Now, I've wanted to shave with a proper straight razor for a long time, and that's a different story.

The belt comes with me every day, and that's what the fixed blade attaches to if that's the knife I'm carrying. I know some folks here kind of have a thing for belts, too...

Glad you dug what you could dig. I know guns aren't everyone's thing, but I figured those vids would at least show some forearm tension, veins, and finger movement.

I took about 20 puppy pics and this was the only one that was post-able. The little guy just tries to eat my hand and arm when I'm about to snap a picture.

Usually I wear these - sometimes to block the sun, sometimes as a surrogate headband when the wind pulls my hair out of the ponytail and into my face.

They used to have "5-Hour Energy" in big yellow letters on the side, but in a fit of pique, I sanded them off. Now they just look like regular shitty Ray Ban knockoffs.

And last, but not least - gum! I usually swap back and forth between the blue and spearmint trident, just for the variety.

Gum's pretty much all the same to me, so I just buy the cheapest stuff that doesn't fall apart after half an hour of chewing. You do have to be careful having too much, though- sugar alcohols like xylitol and sorbitol (what trident gum is sweented with) are mild laxatives.

Actually, looking at the back of this thing, there's a fuckton of artificial sweeteners in here.

In order, from the back of the package: sorbitol, xylitol, acesulfame potassium, aspartame, mannitol, sucralose. I guess they couldn't decide which one to use~

Stone makes a really good coffee milk stout, it's called Stone Coffee Milk Stout. Creative I know. You'd think they would have gone with something more plain given the craftsmanship that goes into the brew. I really dislike ABA, though - well most Ales, really.

Possibly(?) - needles are just leaves - I don't know if there is a technical definition of conifer needles, but I would expect that probably the general shape of a needle would be in it. If the cross section of one leaf is rounded I would call it a needle.

>>24189363
Mine are actual Raybans. I found them on the side of the road in some street detritus earlier this summer while bike riding. I'm almost famous for the things I find on the road while biking and running - cellphones, music devices, flashdrives, rings, money, glasses, socks... Just to name some.

I could carry a purse if I wanted, but I like to always have both arms as free as possible because I like to climb trees and spin around and whatnot. I usually wear a backpack if I need baggage. My Kelty Lynx 35L can handle anything.

Actually, I had the same concern at first, but no, nothing ever falls out. Binder clips squeeze really tightly. I also have no trouble with getting stuff out of it. It takes less than 5 secs, I would guess anyways, to take it out of my back pocket, fold the handles back, unclip, lift the pile out, find the card I'm looking for, slide the pile back in, and fold the handles back down. Very quick process. Once you go binder clip you never go back. Plus they're insanely useful for so many other things.

>so cute and pink
Yes, well... I can like cute pink things ;)

>>24190233
I found this one on CL a long time ago, when GMs were relatively new. It's nice, but I never really got the appeal over, say, the GBA - that thing also fit into pockets.

I also explored Moordener Kill some more today. Took cool underwater-hand pictures, climbed a waterfall, found some animals, and went skinny dipping.

And don't worry, I took pictures of everything.
