One life isn't enough to know one person: you might know the person's ideas, opinions, on this or that topic or situations, what the person likes or might dislike, its friends and family. But you won't still know her and its own crazyness/perks, not until you spend years of actual comfort-excluding life with said person.

Don't limit yourself to find the first one that you think it's worth for you. The right one might be the unexpected one you didn't notice until later on.
