I don't think I have any pictures of my goth phase. I never did the makeup (I'm naturally translucent pale) or the hair dye, but I still feel most comfortable in monochrome. I have little interest in fashion, and I look good in black.

Roundabout way of asking, is this still a thing? I'm in London now with a single goth club. I'm wondering how prevalent it is in the states still.

I'm not really into heavy goth stuff but black fingernails, dark makeup/eyeliner/lipstick looks super great on girls

When I was younger I was very found of the style, and music. But as i got older i noticed there was less Goths and more emos, then suddenly filled with scene kids, so i never really met any true goths

Not anymore. Anyone who identifies themselves as goth are just as good as emo. The same bullshit argument will always be used by you narcissistic fags, though, that nobody can control what someone is or identifies as. Truth is, if you have to tell anyone what you are or make a scene of yourself so people know, you're just a posturing faggot. When I was a kid, nobody was goth or punk or scum, those were labels put on us by others and most of the time they were used as derogatory terms. The people who started calling themselves punk or goth heard of it from those dickheads and did it for the aesthetic and "associated culture", just like you pricks here. Would be fine if you just did your thing and minded your own, but you've to make a statement, make yourself known, and flock together for some misplaced sense of belonging with other "misfits".
