You do not get abs from lifting, you get abs by having a lower body fat percent. If you would eat less than you usually are, and quit doing anything heavy, you would get abs... but more likely "skinny abs" (google it), and you don't need that.
What you want is food and lifting. Do some bodyweight exercises. If you get muscle soreness, you're doing it right. It's not just about looking better, it's about feeling better.
Buy some powdered protein for shakes, mix it with milk, chug that shit down. You'll put on some mass in no time. Find foods that are high in calories which you can easily digest, and start eating. Just don't overdo it and know when to stop.
If you can lift something 10 times or more in a serie (e.g. a dumbell, or a set of weights), increase the weight. Do this until you can lift something 7-10 times until you puff out. Do a rest, then repeat 3-4 times. Do this for your arms, legs, shoulders, pecs, etc.
