I'm a project manager for a workshop that shows high school students the fundamentals of 3D printing. In the workshop we make 3D printed prosthetic hands and give them to a charity that we're partnered with. The charity will then give the hands to those with missing appendages.

Honestly. I just never knew that people were so entitled and fucking lazy. People who curse and treat my agents like they are scum, just bc they are following procedure. Pro tip: if you are nice and helpful, we are going to try to help you, even if it is just to offer to a refurb at a great price. If you are an asshole, we aren't even going to try.

And the scammers! We get ragged on bc "we are so strict" but we have to be because we are fighting scammers that are getting smarter everyday. We had one guy in FL who was using 3 different addresses all in the same neighborhood that got us for almost $20k in products. (Thankfully I wasn't running the CC at that time)

Panel beating. 24 this year. Been doing it for 9 years. Started as a school based apprenticeship on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Finished year ten. Dropped out to start full time. I've witnessed a massive change in the industry in that short time (not sure if for the best or not). I might be bias, but I think doing any sort of trade is really good. You'll carry those skills with you for the rest of your life.
