had a gay friend take me out for food and we ended up there and going to a hookah lounge.

in fact, i'm trying to tolerate how much i've been swiming in gay and trans people lately, at least in my experience of portland. half my male coworkers are gay, I have two trans friends from highschool who I'm somehow tied into, oh my male best friend from childhood is gay now, my brother is gay, my female boss is gay. I imagine it must be this fucking tiring for a gay person in the south.

realtalk, some of these people don't exude their sexuality or behavior and a couple of them are real sweethearts, who, if I were gay, would love to date.

But i'm just not in a good place right now. Not very self-confident and very dating-oriented, and it's like poison in my mind.
