Only if you really want to meld into the modern black FB culture that's been spreading like cancer for a long, long time; for me, it's mainly because that place gives out too much info too soon by default, and I don't like someone I meet on /soc/ knowing too much about me. I prefer getting to know someone as they get to know me, and FB is better for people who have been friends elsewhere for a while than it is for adding random anons on 4chan.

Of course, I will concede that one other part of its community is awful: the tryhard anonymoose wannabes who post vaporwave nonstop, continue to mourn Pepe's death, won't shut up about sadboys and tfw no gf, post greentexts all the time,
