Since when does Adderall increase serotonin? I've tried serotonin increasing compounds in the past, like Sertraline and it did nothing of the sort. It was mostly yawning, insane closed eyed visuals and wavy moving walls.

The explanation is that depression in males is usually fundamentally different than depression in females. Depression research is based on females, who are much more likely to be diagnosed with depression, so anti-depressants are made for them. If you are a depressed male, you probably have a deficiency of dopamine as well, and increasing serotonin makes it even harder for you to get sexually aroused.
