Do you think the lack of defined eyebrow ridges in Asians prevents more expression of emotion in certain ethnicities of asian?

For instance the more flat the brow ridge the harder it becomes to articulate the eyebrows for different emotions.

Do you think that Asian empathy across different geography is influenced by facial structure?

inb4 THAT ISN'T SCIENCE crew arrives

It seems like most of the asian actress/actors especially top ones have more defined than average brow ridge.

Hypothesis are still part of science. I am not asserting it is true just that there is seems to be a definite pattern with regards to conveying emotion visually and eyebrow ridge.

Here is a famous chinese actress bingbing
>>
empathy of Asians aren't affected it's just the methods in which it influences the way they express empathy. The vast majority of the influence is still probably socio-cultural.

The first two results for Chinese Hollywood Actors both had strong brow lines.

Jet Li - very strong brow line
Chow Yun Fat - very strong protruded brow line
John Cho - strong brow line

It seems the ones with weak brow lines end up in comical roles or stereotypical asian extra roles.

Could brow ridge be the best predictor of what roles and "character" an asian will be cast in Hollywood or west? Does it apply to asian markets?

Yes, but there are definitely certain emotions conveyed with the brow ridge. Such as squeezing your eyebrows down and tilting the head.
“The Kubrick Stare, sometimes referred to as the Kubrick Glare, is a common camera shot of an actor in most of Stanley Kubrick's films. The Kubrick Glare has been called the “heavy-browed look of insanity”.

Where did you get that from? If anything, asians should have more defined brow ridges than average because of neanderthal admixture.
>>
>>9158721
You're not getting it. Westerners and East Asians convey emotions in different ways. Westerners by mouth and eye brows. East Asians by eyes. It's miscommunication of body language.

>>
>>9158733
Of course but that doesn't mean brow ridge would be entirely meaningless. Those seems to be exaggerations meaning while we may look at those parts first we still look at the eyes etc.

>>9158730
One of the defining physical looks of asians is the less defined brow ridge or soft brow ridge compared to others. I don't think it has to neanderthal traits. Also there is variability among Asians on their brow ridge.

neanderthal brow ridges?

Is this about real/person-to-person empathy or sentimental "save the African children" empathy?
>>

With USA that high it is definitely "Save da environments and nature is angry at trump" empathy.

Aka you have 5 mansions, 10 vehicles, charter private planes, and complain that people aren't doing anything about global warming. Empty Virtue Signal empathy.

This isn't phrenology.
>>
>>9161367
It was "disproven" in the same sense as homosexuality being a mental disease was "disproven", i.e. dismissed because it didn't fit the zeitgeist.

>>9161367
>area of study becomes politically inconvenient
>nebulous body decides that it is disproven
>next print of textbooks come out supporting this fact
>nobody learns to question it
really drops the zyklon in the ol' gas-chamber, if you whiff my drift
>>
>>9161367
Phrenology is still used to approximate the mental faculties of our pre homo sapiens ancestors and is unironically more scientific than 95% of the garbage your average sociology department churns out these days.
