Any thc activates my almonds too much for sleep reguardless of the subtleties. However a good bit of crystal CBD on top of my weed is a different story, that will put me right to bed.

This. ZMA and melatonin together knock you the fuck out. It's best just to change your habits though OP. Don't look at a screen 30 min before bed, read a book for a bit before bed, have a glass or two of wine or beer 2-3 hrs before bed or with dinner. If all else fails ZMA and melatonin are a good fix. Ambien is good when you absolutely HAVE to fall asleep and can't. I can take 10 mg and be out within half an hour.
