What are the chances the sun's going to radically change its billion-year-long practices in your lifetime? And what are the chances that anything that we've done as a species has any effect of that massive self-sustaining engine 100 million miles away?

I don't know what the "recent solar activity" is, but whatever's happening it's just random variance.
