there is nothing wrong with the measuring instruments but there is somthing wrong with the circuit.
a) R1,R2, R3 all 0 Ohm and R4 is Infinity

Resistor 4 is open for starters.
>>9152213
b) R4,R5 are 0 ohm and the current flows as fine with the other 3 resistors in series
>>9152221
b) the internal resistance of the Voltmeter is 0 Ohm.

>there is nothing wrong with the measuring instruments
voltmeter should not short the circuit it's measuring
>>9152250
the ideal resistance of a voltmeter is infinity, the real ones i handled were all around 10 Mega ohm, which might aswell be infinity compared to 100 ohm resistors
>>9152258
Yes, you are right it should not. Maybe i miss read the Text. I thought it meant, the 0 V is right not the device as such is without failure.
>>9152263
Yes it is normaly very big. I thought in this example it is Not.
The fuck is going on in b
>>9152264
For B, the R4 and R5 are either incorectly labeled or something else fucky is going on that is misleading . If you take the circuit at face value it doesn't ork
