Probably the most retarded question asked on here in a while, but how does chemistry actually work? I understand that molecules exchange electrons, but I don't quite understand how you can say that CH4(g) + 2O2(g) --> CO2(g) + 2H20(g) without literally doing it in a lab first. Is there a chemistry book that explains shit properly?
haha nigga its just like bonds like nigga just put molecules n shit together nigga like haha

Nigga, there are gazillions of molecules whooshing at each other in that test tube, let alone in the wild nature.
They're bound to meet a thousand times every ticking second.
