>Be me, freshman in math and physics because autism
>Looking through course catalog and major requirements
>Realize I could graduate a year early by doing pure math
Is it worth it, sci?
>>9141698
no
and why do you want two degrees, are you that insecure
>>9141698
Only do that if you can't afford another year.
Even if you couldnt afford it it would prob be a better move to get a job and space out your classes instead of going pure math. It might satisfy your autism but there are fewer jobs there.

Just fill your last year with graduate courses, electives, or do a senior thesis if you can afford it, if not stop being poor.

>tfw working while going to school full time
>tfw i'll graduate with 2 bsc degrees and an associates in physics

i was in same situation OP. I decided to to Math Major + Electrical Engineering minor.
I wasn't able to afford year 4 (similar to what >>9142679 mentioned). I got into applied math MS program and also got an OK job as an electronics technician at my grad school's engineering research labs. It isn't as nice as doing math research, but pays well and I actually use autismo subjects like Complex Analysis and Linear Algebra on a daily basis. also my coworkers were all EE undergrads.
i cant definitively make a statement for you, OP, but it worked out well for me. Basically, ask yourself this: will the second Bachelor's Degree matter at all compared to your future grad school and job qualifications? if not, why spend that money?

>2 bsc degrees
Means nothing. Like having two high school diplomas.

I planned my undergrad like a brainlet; I'm a math major with a lot of chemistry/biology courses, as well as a few internships. But I didn't double major. I would recommend it, if you can.
Also, lots of people drop math by 2nd year.

And become a wage slave faster?
Just enjoy your college years.

Pure math is a meme. Probably one of the least useful STEM majors.
