Does being fat have a negative effect on intelligence?
>>
>>9135244
if you're fat you're probably already retarded
>>
>>9135244
No.
>>
Yes a healthy body equals a healthy mind. Thats what the greeks believed and thats what logic and scientific evidence tells us today
>>
is being fat in any way positively correlated with CRANIAL MASS? think: the phenotype
>>
>>9135244
Cardiovascular health health has a significant effect on brain health over time.

Both lifting and cardio keep the cardiovascular system healthy. Being fat and/or inactive has the opposite effect.

Well the brain is apart of the body, so if your body overall is unhealthy then obviously will be affected by this.
>>
>>9136065
>obviously will be affected by this.
obviously your brain will be affected by this*
>>
>>9135249
this you cant be fat and intelligent
>>
>>9135244
well you at least dont need an iq test anymore

Having diabetes (or just high blood sugar) damages blood vessels from increased blood sugar, could lead to a stroke or something.

High cholesterol could clog blood vessels, leading to a stroke.

Generally the fact that someone is fat is indicative that the person themself is too stupid to control what they eat. Tbf I can't think of a single fat scientist or intellectual, assuming your definition of fat is pic related, there's some chubby ones since everyone wants something tasty to fulfil their primal urges every now and then, but grossly obese no.

Generally smart people know to keep themselves in shape, not ridiculously obese or bodybuilder big, since both sides are bad.

Medfag here, I would say being fat is probably the consequence of being stupid, but not the other way around.
>>
>>9135244
Well, if you get fat, you're already pretty dumb. Do you know how much food you have to shovel into your maw to get to the size of say, the person in OP's pic? It's a lot. But that's not even as bad as the worst of fatties.
Let's use pic related as an example. Would you say she weighs about 230 kilograms? The average woman is about 1.62 meters tall. A weight of 51 kilograms puts you at a BMI of 20, so we'll say that's a healthy weight. Well, she's about 179 kilograms over that. For the retarded burgers that can't math, that's about 395 pounds over what she should be. If it takes 3.5K calories to gain one pound, we can do 3500 x 395 to find out that is 1,382,500 calories of pure fat, and that's generous, because that's assuming you haven't burned a single calorie.
Here's where things get fun. A Tesla can go for about 89 kph at 300 watts per minute. As we all know, calories aren't just a tool to measure how much of a lardass you are, but a unit of energy as well. Burning 1 calorie per second is equal to about 4 watts. Burning 75 calories is equal to about 300 watts, enough to run your Tesla for 89 kph for one minute. Let's multiply both by 60. It would take 4500 calories to produce enough wattage to power your 89 kph Tesla for one hour. But 4500 calories is barely over one pound. Let's use Lardo to her full potential. If we multiply 1,382,500 calories by 4 (the number of watts per calorie), we get 5,530,000 watts, or enough to power your Tesla for about 307 hours, or about 12 days straight of constantly driving at 89 kph, no breaks.
So for some simple math now: 12 days times 24 hours in those days times 89 kilometers per hour comes out to 25,632 miles. If the circumference of the Earth is 40,075 kilometers, then this fatass has enough stored energy inside of her to fuel a Tesla to go more than halfway across the equator in just 12 days.

According to www.scientificamerican.com, the number of morbidly obese people in the world comes out to about 55 million. If we multiply 40,075 by 55,000,000, we get a total of 2,424,125,000,000 kilometers. Now Pluto is an average 7,500,000,000 kilometers away from Earth. If we were to somehow pause the orbits of both Earth and Pluto, we can divide our kilometers (2,424,125,000,000) by the distance between Earth and Pluto to come out to about 323 trips from Earth to Pluto.
Another way to do this, and get much further than Pluto while we're at it, is to use astronomic units. One AU is equal to 149,597,871 kilometers. So if we divide our kilometers (2,424,125,000,000) by our AUs, we get about 16,204 astronomical units to spend. Voyager 1, according to NASA, is 138 AU away from us right now. If we divide our astronomical units by the distance from us to Voyager, it turns out that we can go about 117 times further than Voyager 1 solely subsisting on the fat of the morbidly obese in a Tesla.
