How dangerous is it to melt lead?
I want to recycle old lead pellets and make some weird custom rounds.
I googled it a bit and the answers range a lot. Also, it's either weird forums or tree hugger websites talking about it.
Also I melted some(
~18g) inside my kitchen, I hope I don't get too retarded.

You can melt lead over your stove, just don;t use the whatever you used to contain that lead to so you don't ingest anything afterwards

If you can reach 327.5 °C then just make sure you don't breath it in
I've never done it before but I'd wear a gas mask and gloves and avoid doing it indoors in case it lets off fumes.
Simply treat it like any other substance that makes toxic fumes. Ideally you would melt the lead outdoors and wear a gas mask to keep out the fumes. There's minor danger as you'd probably be doing this very rarely as opposed to a worker that is around lead fumes for several hours a day, but precautions are very wise to prevent harm.
Also, I saw a video about lead acetate, and would think you could use lead acetate crystals to mix with crystal meth so you could cut your product. Do you think they look similar enough?

Yeah I know, I used a weird metal thing I found outside as a plate and some wire as a fork.

Well, I'm not sure I get what you are saying. They don't look alike. I'm going to get you guys a pic of the ingot I made

By the way, do you have a 3D printer? Some very cheap 3d printers are made by monoprice which would be perfect for printing small PLA parts you could use for molds.

I don't, I live in a third world country

You'll be fine, lead was used as plumbing for centuries. If your lower legs hurt you fucked up though.

Yes and no. It looks like it, but the way that breaks would make it obvious. The cuts used for meth are easy to buy and fracture better than that.

- fumes are dangerous
- if dampness gets in the wrong place it could explode

Rednecks seem to manage just fine. Keep the airflow up and the moisture low.
Keep the moisture low.
Preheat the container you pour the metal into, so it dries up.

Well, I guess I have to be extra careful with it.
Also, if even them didn't get fucked up by the fumes I don't think it's going to happen to me.
I'm just going to buy more pellets instead of trying to make custom ones.
Lead is not contact toxic. Only if you ingest it or open cut or eyes or something. Don't burn yourself. Just wash hands with soap.

Don't forget to ask /diy/
IRL mad scientists hang out there. Also, /k/.
Few hours later my head feels kinda weird and I feel kinda retarded but it's probably placebo and I've always been a tard.

Legs are fine.
