I was Stargazing and just saw two huge flashs 10 seconds apart in the same spot, right next to Deneb, at about 20h40 right acension and 45° declination. The hell did i just see? It was about twice as bright as Deneb.

What is your physical location? It could have been something relatively nearby.

Some things that would make repeated flashes 10 seconds apart: satellites, high altitude airplanes, the classic men-in-black excuses "swamp gas" and "weather balloon", somebody shooting off illegal fireworks, asteroids burning up int he atmosphere in a small astroid shower...

the list goes on. Suffice it to say that we would need much more information, such as video and your GPS coordinates at the time of the sighting to make any reasonable guess

Im at the border between france and Switzerland, in the alps, small town called Arbusini

It couldn't be satellites, a plane or a meteorite because it flashed in the exact same spot
Any of these objects move fast, and even a small relative movement would be apparent 10 seconds appart
No, i think i saw something far away

CERN's LHC is there.
Maybe it was a time machine.

It was an Iridium satellite reflecting sun light. I did not know that they could get that bright. -6 in magnitude is very very bright and Deneb is only +1.25. Smaller number equals brighter on the magnitude scale.

I've never heard of an Iridium satellite repeating within as short as a whole day, let alone seconds, and they don't flash - they grow brighter and dim at a good trot.

My bet is on a satellite though - could easily have been a tumbler, and you may have just *thought* it was the exact same spot, or maybe it was a geosynchronous with a pair of panels oriented the same (but never really are exact) that happened to do the Iridium flare trick.

Airplane? not likely. You'd be seeing repeating flashes for quite a while, and its running lights, too.

Something cosmic? Not likely, because two flashes require some buildup of energy or two reserves to go off. Can't think of anything offhand that qualifies.

Maybe it was a weather balloon with a blinking light to warn aircraft?
