I think porn can, in many cases, interrupt a person's ability to function. I actually knew a teacher who got fired for watching it in his classroom. So like other anons have said, it has the potential to be harmful to a person because of it's addictive qualities, but I wouldn't consider it quite as potent as alcohol or nicotine.
