What does /sci/ make of this? I found it rather disturbing that it's written into US law that people cannot go through the courts for damages done by vaccines to them or their family members. If vaccine companies are concerned for the safety of people, wouldn't they want to make sure that their vaccines do as little harm as possible and demonstrate this through studies and testing?

Please discuss other aspects as well.
