I only understand algebra 1, can I study
basic mathematics by serge lang or should I further study khan academy?
Would the book be too hard for only algebra 1 knowledge?
I want to move to serge lang because khan academy is tediously long and boring, and wastes lots of paper.
If you recommend me to do khan academy instead before doing the book, what subjects should I do?
trigonometry and algebra 2?
geometry?

Videos are great for understanding, but absolutely suck for retention and learning. They only make you feel more confident in the material.
I never really liked serge langs basic mathematics for someone doing it for the first time. Feel free to go through it once you're done with the above
