How exactly do a person's muscles allow them to do something like throw a punch when all they can do is contract?
I have a rough guess that muscles in the pec and shoulder lift the arm while a muscle on the back of the forearm tugs it back to extend it, but I don't know enough about biology to know if I'm retarded
