Is there a formula to reverse a spiral?
Or a formula to stop momentum?
Writing a script for a movie and need to know if such things even exist.
It's about a scientist who predicted the death of a race car driver and tries to get the racer to stop.
just flip the sign bro

that's not really a formula buddy

-(formula for a spiral)
-(vector of momentum)
It's trivial. Whatever OP is attempting to do is likely to look pretty stupid.

here:
Momentum: F=mA
Apply a force F = -mA to the object until it stops.
Spiral (ex): F(x) = xC (C complex)
Reverse spiral: F(x) = -xC
wow such high mathematics
If you want some silly sci-fi techno-math that mightl fool someone with a layman's education, maybe replace the -1 with some mysterious constant like Z and create some mystery about how Z has never been evaluated but is known to provide perfectly accurate results or something

or just express -1 as some infinite series or other mathematical gimmick
