Hey,
I'm trying to study calculus on my own so I'm prepared for my first year of uni. What resources would you suggest?
Thanks!
Don't bother. Calculus is literally the easiest class you will have in the whole Bachelors and the time allotted for this is way, way, way, too much.
Stewart, a lot examples

basically this
don't fall for the khanacademy meme of only watching videos then not doing shitloads of practice problems

Read the fucking sticky
>>9073833
Calculus: A Modern Approach by Jeff Knisley if you want something better than Stewart but less rigorous than Spivak and co.

There's actually a pdf available online of of Calculus: Early Transcendentals that has a diagnostic test early on in the book. The test is there specifically to ensure that you're ready for calculus.

Calculus by spivak.
Pretty much a real analysis textbook disguised as a calculus one, but damn is it rewarding.

if you made this post from windows 10 neck yourself

I did, because unlike shitlux, it's a functional and practical operating system supporting all software with drivers that actually work

preping is probably a waste of time. if you have to, then get the course book (maybe) and some old problems from the class/exams (definitely)

i use windows 7 still. waiting for them to make an OS that isn't filled with dumb features and user tracking and shit.

I'm more concerned about those runescape icons.

If you just want some preparation watch some video lectures like on MIT OCW or Khanacademy.

study your algebra, trig, and geometry. Calculus is literally one new concept wrapped up in fancy algebra and trig. if you REALLY want to get into "muh pure meaning" then take a discrete mathematics course which usually doesn't require calc to begin with.
