How bad are concussions for you and are they reversible?

once you break it, it doesn't get unbroken
>>
To reverse a concussion you have to do the opposite to how you do that concussion.

So you should bang your head in the opposite way to your first bang and it will sort you out.

contrecoup?

Concussion is a brain bruise.

They are reversible and rarely need to be hospitalized.
>>

repeated concussions are extremely dangerous and can be fatal.

A single one is as you said, though. Pretty much anybody is going to get at least one or two hard smacks on their head in the course of their entire life

Repeated concussion is more likely to cause issues with cognition (brain damage) than to be over all fatal (read up on chronic traumatic encephalopathy).

MULTIPLE concusions at once is a different story....

>chronic traumatic encephalopathy

Which, in 10 years, they'll decide was not a thing after all.

Screencap this and save it for 10 years, and be amazed at my prescience.

I got a bad concussion while hiking and fell, hitting my head on a rock. Some of the acute effects were headaches, very bad concentration, I wasn't allowed to drive. Then after about two weeks those were gone but some of the weirder effects started. Some were, hearing people speak to me but not being able to process the words, doing things and then becoming aware I was doing things, like being in the garage for no reason, saying words that I didn't intend like saying "could I have some more fish" when we were eating chicken. I put my phone in the fridge. But now 6 weeks later I'm back to normal. /blog

If you black out, then it's a really bad one and probably not reversible.

otherwise, sure. our brains are plastic. long-term cardio every day will reverse everything.

that's just your brain reregulating itself. when you get a concussion, your brain gets way imbalanced and goes into turbo regulation mode, so things don't work perfectly for a while. like i said, 30 minutes of jogging every day for 1+ months will reverse everything unless it was very bad(you blacked out)
