Got hotel room in Greenville, SC -- if it is locally cloudy, can run south-east towards Colombia (Colombia hotels are about gone unless you want to stay in the Roach Motel.)

Interstate parallels the line of totality there, both cities are pretty much right on the line. Might run south towards Anderson/Clemson, for a few extra seconds of totality, but just sitting in the hotel parking lot is also fine.

I'll be paying attention to all the threads on different boards referring to Some Serious Rapture Shit™ happening, and will either be stressed out if they're real or smug once they're proven fake.

Other than trolls, who would think that? There are eclipses somewhere every year or so -- even if you believe in The End is Nigh, just another eclipse does not seem like much to hang your panic on.
