any doctors/healthfags on? My sense of touch feels like it might be reduced. Started when I smoked cannabis couple months back. Now when I smoke the desensitisation feels definitely noticeable and it lingers for days. I don't know if I'm imagining it. I'm a massive hypochondriac. I haven't heard of this being a side effect of weed. Any advice?
I have a theory that it's an extension of weed fucking with my short term memory, like I forget where my hands are positioned or what they were feeling moments ago, so when I think about my hands I'm surprised by the touch senses its experiencing.

I used to smoke a lot and I completely lost feeling in my left wrist. Couldn't feel any sensation there at all. It continued even after I stopped smoking. It went away after a few months of sobriety though.
weed is not only a psychoactive drugs. but its also sedative, it has an effect on your central nervous system.
THC acts on cannabinoid receptors which are found on neurons in many places in the brain. These brain areas are involved in memory (the hippocampus), concentration (cerebral cortex), perception (sensory portions of the cerebral cortex) and movement (the cerebellum, substantia nigra, globus pallidus).
