Not sure if bait. You're neuroendocrine system does not control your brain.
Look at pic related, imagine omega to be your sensory/regulatory systems like the neuroendocrine. Alpha to be the meaning interperted from signs repersented in delta, and K to be your mind which is an abstract model of those sign relations. This means things with mind-like mechanisms (generally life) exhibit downward causality(agency) and complex realization.
