This is why you have to spend all your time working, so you can get into an elite PhD program where the scientists are actual level-headed, well-rounded professionals. How is that unfalsifiable you humongous retard? We already know that you can build an intelligent machine out of matter (it's called the human brain), so it's not that outlandish to imagine that one day similar intelligent algorithms can be run on silicon based hardware. Its implication (AIs becoming vastly smarter than us) comes pretty straightforward, considering you can't overclock the human brain, or otherwise modify it, but you can run your algorithm on a 100 times more powerful supercomputer, and you can improve the code.
