Is graph theory nice?

Depends what you mean by nice and what kind of graph theory. You use it for all kind of physical, topological, algebraical or stochastical problems (for example Markov Chains, Random walks on graphs etc). If you like to work with combinatorial tools and matrices. Yes why not?
