Does anyone have a youtube channel or video that explains to me how computers work at a fundamental level?
Things I don't understand are everything about how data is stored and how storage size has reduced over time.
I don't understand how hole punch cards were used to make computers. I really don't understand anything about computers.
I know how to build a PC, you put the parts on the motherboard and google the rest. I completely lack the actual mechanisms that make a computer work, and it seems like I should know that.

cheers this seems useful
nb: high school drop out, just finished law school, missed out tonnes of 'assumed knowledge' in lots of areas. i was always at the top of the class i just got bullied until i broke down and dropped out, so i assume i can learn computer science.

storage size has not reduced over time in any way

so what are you saying
