there should be plenty of meds at your local pharmacy to alleviate the symptoms.
If that's not what you want then the simplest remedy is to inhale the vapors of boiling water + bicarbonate for runny nose and sore throat, or eat a few spoons of honey for the latter.
Obvs drinking a lot of warm stuff and staying in bed as much as possible speed up the thing
