Humanity climbed to the top of the food chain and has built the cozy safe world of abundance you're living in right now thanks to big fucking brains they grew from eating cooked meat.
Meat which freed them up from spending most of their waking hours just walking about and eating -unlike dumbass herbivores, who literally have to do that shit all day - so that they had time to think about things and figure out how to be even more efficient and how to not get eaten by other animals.

Within minutes of your death - no matter the cause - the worms in you gut will start feeding on your corpse. If you die outside, entire fucking animal kingdom will eventually take a bite, whether directly or by proxy. They don't give a single fuck about your emotions, they want to eat, and if you give them a chance to get away with it, they will try to make you edible prematurely, on the spot and without consent.
