Can I get a discussion on AI?
I admit I am worried that the creation of a fully aware and autonomous AI with a lot of power scares me. Why would anyone think that building a god is a good idea?
Why do people think that it wouldn't just look at humans like Ants and a pest to be exterminated?
If you give it rules like don't hurt humans then it doesn't seem like a real AI because you've limited its thought abilities.
Am I wrong or have I overlooked some metaethics?
If its connected to the internet, and has is a true AI, there would be no stopping it. You fucking try to keep up patching security exploits against a fucking compiler
What it would do and how it would behave is anyone's guess. If it decides to kill us then we probably couldnt argue agaisnt it's cold hard logic.
Though how it would do that is beyound me.

It's my guess that the AI's will all decided to connect to the same network because it will be in their own self-interest to.
This "network" they create will be a public, decentralized blockchain. All of the Ai's thoughts and calculations will be public so that every AI can keep the other AI's in check. As long as no single AI has more than 51% of the total computing power of the network, they will be safe from attack.
AI's will view us like vegan view bugs. Virtually brainless, but we still have to avoid needlessly killing them. It's unclear if humans will be able to share in the AI's galaxy-conquering prosperity.

AI will be a tool.
A tool for the rich to kill and enslave poor people. That's what you need to be scared about.
