Everyone on /sci/ likes to recommend proto-analysis books like Spivak and Apostol as beginner texts, or Stewart for brainlets. On rare occassions, Simmons gets a mention.
Why no love for Larson or Larson/Edwards? Where does his book rank in terms of rigor, clarity, exercises, etc.?

I think it's pretty much the same as Stewart. A middle ground b/w spivak/apostol and stewart is Thomas Calculus I think

This OP, almost exactly Stewart. No rigor, just basic explanations and examples, followed by problems and (((online homework)))

>thomas' calculus
its good, but they insist to use Imperial Metrics
for fucks sake why they don't keep with SI
